The X Factor judges have made their decisions, the contestants have mixed things up a bit by choosing to drop out, revealing past criminal convictions and generally adding to the pantomime that is The X Factor, but finally it seems 16 acts have been chosen to go through to the live shows.
So, did your favourite make it through? And who do you think is in with the best chance of taking the title this year?
The Favourites
The girls stand out as a particularly strong category, as usual. Any time there's debate over whether the right people went through, it means some talent got left behind - and this year, that talent is in the form of Jade Richards.
On the show, Jade received a 'no' while Janet Devlin was told 'yes' at Kelly Rowland's Miami house. But don't blame Janet - there were eight performers to choose from, not just those two. That was just the way it was edited for TV. Jade lost out to all four of the female finalists, not just to Janet.
Stand-out favourites among the girls are Janet and Amelia Lily, who has seemed (to me) to be the all-round package since her first audition. She's pretty, talented and likeable, which is a killer combination.
Among the boys, meanwhile, bum-branding Frankie Cocozza remains a pretty good prospect. There's something odd about his voice that I can't quite put my finger on, but he'll do pretty well as long as he doesn't crumble on the live shows.
The Outsiders
At the other end of the scale, weirdly, the outside shots at taking the title this year are not the mediocre groups, but the over-the-top over-25s.
William Hill have chipmunk-voiced Johnny Robinson as the absolute outsider at a massive 50/1, but the undeniably talented Kitty Brucknell is not far behind at 40/1. Really? Would anyone seriously say the other 14 acts are all more talented than her? Or is it her strange combination of smug desperation and tragic self-interest that's turning people off?
Either way, it doesn't look like Louis has a hope in hell of getting his acts as far as the final - all four of them appear in the bottom six on William Hill's list of odds.
